Short Trip Destinations – Best Known Sojourn Places


Holidaying or going on travel does not always mean a long one. However most people, families and groups most of the times plans for long holidays and there are many places in India where one can go for a long holiday. But many a times we need just a small break from our everyday life and unwind ourselves, during weekends or during any small continuous public holiday times say just for 2-3/4 days, with family and friends. The obvious thing that comes to our mind then is where to go? Somehow, when you are planning a long tour, finding places to go does not seem difficult to find, but whenever you have to plan for a short tour things becomes complicated, especially with finding places. It is not that there are no such places in India to consider for a short trip but the main problem is the names do not flash to our mind at the right time.



So I decided to put them all together with their highlights (why to visit the place) for myself and yes for my fellow travellers as well who loves to travel and faces this same problem while planning  (as I mentioned earlier) like me.
Though most of us are aware of the following places but many times misses to consider them when we need them the most:

Coonoor

Coonoor is one of the three Nilgiri slope stations – Ooty, Kotagiri and Coonoor – that sit high over the southern fields.  It is the second biggest slope station in the Nilgiris, encompassed by tea manors, at an elevation of 1839 meters. Its atmosphere is milder than Ooty. It is an extremely well known weekend escape for the individuals in Coimbatore. Coonoor is basically a little tea enclosure town where the climate remains charmingly cool as the year progressed.

A prominent leisure activity here is birdwatching, as a far reaching mixture of flying creatures can be spotted. Coorg

The hazy slopes, rich teakwood and sandalwood timberlands, and sections of land of tea and espresso ranches of Kodagu are, in a statement, is breathtaking. Coorg is found in the south-west piece of Karnataka bordering Kerala. The place where there is espresso, cardamom. Kodagu is a perfect place for trekking, and white-water rafting.

Daman & Diu

Mt. Abu
